As long as I can remember, I have had a fascination with all things strange/macabre/creepy. There is nothing better than walking through the dusty corners of an antique store or off-the-beaten-path museum. So naturally I am intrigued by people and sites that take that mystery and wonder and translate it to the web.
One of my favorite sites is a blog called
Morbid Anatomy. I like to think of it as a unique tour guide of all the strange and twisted places and things to see and do across the world. There are posts from everything from the latest artist exhibit that makes use of taxidermied animals to the widely forgotten "Anatomical Venuses" of the 19th century. I could, and have, spent countless hours sifting through the extensive archive. For me, it is an endless source of inspiration for both web and print design.
