I thought it might be nice to write a series of blogs about the designers that have inspired and influenced me the most, with the hope that they might do the same for you.
I have to start with Saul Bass. His groundbreaking work in the film industry was some of the first I saw that really sparked a passion in me for design. He is, of course, most noted for his innovation in film title sequences. Here is a list of some of my favorites...

In addition to creating the title sequence for Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, he created the storyboards for the infamous shower murder scene.
If you haven't seen these title sequences, I suggest you go rent these movies and take a look. Pretty cool.

Maybe even more inspiring to me were his poster designs for films. His style continues to clearly influence many poster designers today. A few of his best...
