Paid Media Specialist

The Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing, reporting on, and optimizing display, search and video campaigns to ensure alignment with the company’s and company’s client project online marketing strategy. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level.
The Paid Media Specialist will partner with internal teams as well as client resources and/or partner agencies from time to time to:
- analyze paid media traffic to develop, execute, test, and report on paid media strategies for all client and company campaigns
- manage and optimize media buys (including digital display, search, social, mobile, etc.)
- monitor the evolving media landscape and help develop best practices for the company
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the agency’s and agency's clients' paid media strategy
- Report paid media performance and recommendations to senior management and clients
- Administer our paid media accounts and our clientele paid media accounts
- Develop and run ad campaigns
- Optimize paid media for qualified leads and ROI
- Deliver paid media performance that contributes significantly to the agency’s and the agency’s clients' sales pipeline and revenue growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of deep experience using PPC/SEO and Digital Advertising, with a B2B focus, to drive qualified site traffic.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail and ability to utilize analytics tools to analyze data and trends in order to improve ROI and identify growth opportunities
- Proven ability to interact and collaborate across different disciplines in order to accomplish a common goal
- Strong experience with Google AdWords – annual certifications required
- Facebook Blueprint – ongoing learning
- 4+ years of experience with social ad platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
- Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Proficiency with HubSpot is desirable
- Detailed report creation for paid campaigns

As a Web Designer at The Old State (TOS), you will work within our Strategic Marketing and Creative Agency providing design and creative solutions for interactive, web, marketing, and branding deliverables for brands around the country across a variety of industries. We are seeking highly creative individuals with technical skills for exploring emerging digital platforms to provide innovative solutions. You will bring professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to create innovative designs to support TOS strategic brand and marketing efforts.
Role:
- Develop concepts, designs, and innovative ideas for websites and digital/print deliverables within brand standards
- Manage design and web projects from concept through production and delivery utilizing various software platforms
- Present work and concepts to internal teams and to clients
- Ability to create, design, and edit interactive documents and presentations, HTML emails for mobile, animated infographics
- Effectively create layouts with strong typography and appropriate use of color while maintaining brand integrity by interpreting and applying brand guidelines
- Work with marketing teams to grow TOS’ capabilities
- Work with web development teams to effectively communicate website vision and functionality requirements to project completion.

Skills:

Marketing Automation Director

The Marketing Automation Director will be responsible for onboarding clients, HubSpot management, and monthly reporting in alignment with the client’s marketing strategy. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level.
The Marketing Automation Director will regularly work with the marketing team to:
- Analyze client reporting and suggest changes to campaigns based on that data
- Set up complex email workflows and HubSpot forms
- Collaborate on new client Playbooks and strategy
Responsibilities:

Position Description: The Old State is looking for an SEO Specialist to lead organic search efforts for both The Old State as well as its clients. In this role as SEO Specialist, you will develop cohesive SEO strategies designed to improve the Company’s search visibility. You will work across our portfolio, including multiple websites(ours and our client’s sites), conducting research to inform our content strategy, ensuring local listing is optimized, etc.
This candidate is expected to reside in the DFW metroplex as it will be a hybrid remote role with set days in the office and in a field with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- You will partner with our Executive Leadership to establish an SEO-first implementation strategy that ensures the best SEO practices are implemented. The SEO Specialist will work with a cross-functional team to instill needed SEO procedures, update processes, and improve communication.
- Manage SEO Content – Guide blog creation relevant to the client’s industry using original content while leveraging and collaborating with our in-house copywriters and designers.
- Conduct keyword/topic research, manage article workflows, optimize articles, Q&A SEO elements, work with content writers on article improvement strategy, and report on article performance
- Website Optimization/Organic Listings – provide website on-page SEO that includes metadata development, build website authority, content optimization, redirect management, optimization for search engine crawling and indexation, and internal link management. Prioritize Directory Listings and Directory Listing Management. You’ll ensure the index is healthy and crawls are efficient and focused on the highest-value pages
- Local Listing Management – own all local SEO efforts including the management of directories, Google Business Profiles, and Apple Map locations, including setup, verification, updates of locations, SEO optimization, metric tracking, posting, and Q&A and review management. Create Authority for all Map listings and ensure maximization of citation sources, reviews, and management.
- Site Auditing – perform regular and detailed SEO audits of Company websites to identify SEO challenges and areas for improvement, including on-page, off-page, local, and technical elements as well as Core Web Vitals performance
- Analysis and Reporting – monitor company website and offsite digital assets for progress toward ranking and organic traffic goals. Provide reports and analysis explaining organic traffic trends as well as perform competitive and industry benchmarking. Deliver accurate forecasts for how your channel(s) will drive the business. establish program KPIs and drive execution to achieve quarterly revenue to support overall company growth targets
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices, and communicate those to the Marketing Director
- Create, guide, and manage channel reporting and underlying data structure
Qualifications
- This role requires an individual with strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business/marketing needs to technical requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in a quantitative field and 2-5 years of progressive experience, beyond their degree, in SEO, Search Marketing, Web Development, Content Marketing, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and search engine ranking factors
- Experience with relevant SEO tools (ex: Botify, Screaming Frog, GSC, Brightedge, SEM Rush, etc.) and web analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics, Adobe, etc.)
- Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience building pages and content in a Content Management System (CMS) is not required but helpful
- Expertise in A/B and other testing methods and experience measuring SEO tactics via these methods
- High level of initiative and proven ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
