We decided to throw a party to celebrate a wonderful year at The Old State. The result was absolutely stunning thanks to many wonderful people who donated their time and resources. We wanted to raise some money for a good cause, so we partnered with the Goss-Michael Foundation who, among other arts centric endeavors, raises money for high school students seeking a college education in the arts. It also just so happened that our selected month for the event coincided with the launch of four of our new client sites. We thought it would be fun to come up with a unique way to feature the client launches during the party. We decided to do a runway fashion show celebrating old world style and futuristic flair. After much planning and preparation the night arrived. Everything really came together in the last 24 hrs, even though we started planning months in advance. There were tents that had to go up to cover the courtyard, battery operated screens for the fashion show, video production, catering, an art auction, a giant frame and set build, lights, flowers, security, sound, staff, and the list goes on! I must say that this was my first hands on experience planning an event from start to finish (I now know how my wife felt when planning our wedding) and thanks to our amazing event planner, Lindsey Amos, and many others we were able to pull it off. I have attached some behind the scenes pics and a few of my favorite shots of the night below. There are also a few links to articles, video, etc. of the event that have been popping up here and there on the web and in publications below for your viewing pleasure. If you were there and see a picture you would like, want to know how we did something, or would like us to hook you up with one of the awesome vendors/companies we hired just contact us and we will be glad to help out. Thanks again to everyone involved and to all who attended. See you next year!
